Carole Lynn Senser

Carole Lynn Senser funeral will take place on Monday December 29 at 11:30 am at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church.

Carole Senser of San Antonio, Texas, was called home to the Lord on December 16, 2025, surrounded by her family.

Born March 8, 1942 in Oakland, California, to Dorothy and Fred Ramos, Carole lived a life marked by kindness, quiet strength, and deep devotion to family and friends. Carole graduated in 1960 from Las Lomas High School in Walnut Creek, California. Upon graduating, she worked for PG&E in San Francisco before marrying the love of her life, Lawrence Donald Senser, in May of 1963. Together they raised two children and later made their home in San Antonio, Texas. Carole continued her professional career working for Brooksfield National Bank and the Baptist Hospital System.

Carole found great joy in traveling and exploring new places, having visited six continents (North and South America, Europe, Asia, Australia, and Antartica)  cherishing time spent with family and friends along the way. She valued community deeply and was always eager to stay connected, offer support, and lend a helping hand. Her love of animals was a constant in her life, and she took special delight in caring for them with the same tenderness she showed to everyone she loved. Her faith was a steady presence throughout her life, shaping the way she cared for others with generosity, compassion, and humility.

She leaves behind a legacy of love carried forward by her son, Todd Senser, and Michelle Senser, and their three sons, Zachery, Chance, and Dylan; and by her daughter, Kimberly Aiken-Mihalski, and her husband Leslie, and her two sons, Austin and Chad. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 51 years, Lawrence Donald Senser.

A Rosary will be prayed at 11:00 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 a.m. on Monday, December 29, at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church. A reception will follow the Mass. A private burial will take place at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery on Tuesday, December 30.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society of San Antonio.

We entrust Carole to God’s loving mercy, confident that she now rests in the light and joy of His presence.
