Agnes S. Currie

Agnes’s funeral will take place on June 26, 2025 at 11:30 am in the Church.

Marie Florence Agnes (Sansregret) Currie Agnes was born on December 29, 1927 in Meadow Lake, Saskatchewan, Canada to Harris and Julia Sansregret, both of whom predeceased her. Following her basic schooling, she studied nursing and received her LVN certification. In 1970, she married Dr. Roy Stanley Currie, M.D. (1918- 2001). They moved to Sherman, TX in 1976 and later to San Antonio, TX where they retired. Both were members of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church where Agnes was involved in numerous study groups and ministries.

If you wish to make a memorial donation in her honor, Agnes’s favorite recipients would be St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church and St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
