Immigration Support Team

The Immigration Support Team is a group of parishioners who are choosing to accompany our immigrant brothers and sisters as the Body of Christ. They make themselves available to our immigrant community at St. Francis providing support in areas of need. Depending on the needs of the family, this might include bringing communion to their home, picking up and delivering groceries, assisting with child care, or providing access to legal resources and information about civil and human rights. In some cases, they might also accompany immigrant families to scheduled court events or act as interpreters. If you are in need of support or would like to be a part of the Immigration Support Team, please reach out to Carlos Jaen at 210-260-9848 or Mario Escobedo at 361-443-9356.
