Norma Gallegos
Norma’s Funeral will take place on Saturday, July 25 at 10:00 am at St. Francis of Assisi.
Norma Jean Gallegos, beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, entered into eternal rest on July 11, 2026, at the age of 79.
Born in San Antonio, Texas, on January 16, 1947, Norma was preceded in death by her parents, Arnold and Argentina Torres, and by her husband, Joseph Gallegos.
She is lovingly survived by her daughter, Nicole Cleveland, and her husband, Scott; her son, Matthew Gallegos, and his wife, Lori; her grandsons, Jake Cleveland and his wife, Audrey, and Joshua Cleveland; her grandchildren, William (Benjamin) and Bella Gallegos; and her cherished and only great-grandchild, Nicolas Cleveland.
Norma was an aunt and godparent to so many amazing nieces, nephews, cousins, neighbors and extended family, and she cherished every one of them. Her family was the center of her life, and she delighted in every opportunity to spend time with all of them.
Norma had many accomplishments throughout her life, but her greatest gift was being the light she wished to see in the world. She radiated joy through her words, her kindness, and her actions. Her thoughtfulness left a lasting impression on everyone who knew her. Anyone fortunate enough to cross her path left happier for having known her through her kind words, gestures and gifts. Her beautiful blue eyes and radiant smile reflected the joy she carried in her heart.
Norma expressed her love through acts of service. She had a remarkable gift for making others feel seen, heard, known, and deeply loved. Her faith was the foundation of her life, and she served faithfully at her beloved church, St. Francis of Assisi. Her prayer groups, ACTS sisters, and church family brought her immense joy and were a treasured part of her life.
Those who knew Norma were forever changed by her warmth, generosity, and unwavering faith. May the countless lives she touched continue to reflect the light she shared so freely. She loved deeply, gave generously, and leaves behind a legacy of joy, compassion, and faith that her family will strive to honor every day.
