Volunteer With Pilgrim's Pantry
Dear Friends of Pilgrim’s Pantry,
We thank you for your very generous assistance during the past years in delivering Thanksgiving meals to so many deserving individuals. With your help, since we began in 2013 we have delivered over 16,000 meals. May God bless you for your servant’s hearts. This year, we will be preparing our Thanksgiving Dinner at the kitchen recently made available to us by St. Paul Catholic Church, at 350 Sutton Drive. We have detailed directions to our kitchen for 2026 on our website. If you are available to help us this year, please sign up on the Pilgrim’s Pantry webpage at pilgrimspantry.org, or by using the following QR Code. Look for the “Get Involved” link. For Thanksgiving 2026 we will distribute meals to numerous locations, including Towne Twin Village, a village of small homes for our homeless. We will also be moving equipment, cooking, and preparing food Monday - Friday of Thanksgiving week (November 23-27). We have a variety of activities available, some that will last just a short time of two hours. We are looking for volunteers to join us in the kitchen at St. Paul Catholic Church during Thanksgiving week to assist in food preparation, and volunteers at the kitchen beginning early on Thanksgiving morning (November 26) to assist us in final preparation and filling food containers. We are also asking for your help on Friday November 27 to help us move out of our kitchen. Last, we are asking for your financial support. As in so many other areas of our economy, our expenses have increased as well. You can make a donation by using the blue donation envelope mailed to you in September, or on our webpage at pilgrimspantry.org/donate. Most importantly, we are asking for your prayerful support. Please consider serving God through serving His people. With Our Lord’s help, we will help many of our brothers and sisters enjoy a hot, freshly cooked Thanksgiving Dinner. We would love to have you join us, once again.
