OCIA | Start Your Journey

Are you interested in becoming Catholic? Have you not been baptized or have you have been baptized but have not received First Communion and Confirmation? Are you curious about the Catholic faith and would like to learn more? St. Francis of Assisi Parish warmly invites you to participate in our OCIA (Order of Christian Initiation of Adults) process. OCIA is a journey of faith, prayer, learning, and community designed for adults who are interested in exploring the Catholic Church, completing their sacraments of initiation, or deepening their relationship with Jesus Christ. Classes begin Sunday, August 2 and will continue each Sunday at 12:30 pm, following the 11:15 am Mass. Classes will be held in the John Paul II Room (JP2) in the San Damiano Building. The San Damiano Building is located next to the Indian Woods entrance to our campus. Enter through the front doors, and you will find the staircase immediately to your right. Simply head upstairs, and you'll arrive at the JP2 Room. Whether you are seeking Baptism, Confirmation, First Communion, or simply want to learn more about the Catholic faith, we welcome you to join us. There is no obligation— just an open invitation to explore, ask questions, and grow in faith within a supportive community. Come and see! We look forward to walking with you on this journey.
