Adult Faith Formation
As we begin our fall semester of Adult Faith Formation, we will celebrate the Jubilee Year honoring the 800th anniversary of the passing of our patron, St. Francis of Assisi. Of course, Francis himself would never have accepted the title of "great," for his life was marked by profound humility, simplicity, and complete trust in God. To honor his life and spiritual legacy, we will study Eager to Love: The Alternative Way of Francis of Assisi by Franciscan Fr. Richard Rohr. In this inspiring book, Fr. Rohr explores the timeless wisdom of St. Francis, showing how his radical commitment to love, simplicity, compassion, and joyful living continues to offer a powerful path to Christian discipleship today.
Classes will resume:
• Sunday, September 13, at 10:00 am
• Tuesday, September 15, at 4:30 pm
We would like to extend a special invitation to all parents whose children attend Faith Formation on Sunday mornings at 10 am or Tuesday afternoons at 4:30 pm. While your children are growing in their faith, we invite you to join us for Adult Faith Formation at the same time. This is a wonderful opportunity to deepen your own understanding of the Catholic faith, grow in your relationship with Christ, and share in meaningful discussion and fellowship with other adults in our parish community. All are welcome as we explore the spirituality of St. Francis and discover how his example can inspire us to live the Gospel more fully in our daily lives.
