Altar Servers

Detailed Altar Server guidelines (PDF)

Please keep the following things in mind as an Altar Server at St. Francis of Assisi Parish:

1.  Appropriate dress.  There are no rules here, but, please do your best to look presentable in a way that would be welcoming to all.  General guideline would be no shorts or sneakers.

2.  Remember your schedule.   If you are scheduled we rely on you to be there.  If you cannot make it, PLEASE get a substitute.  If you need a phone list log in to your ministry web terminal, or call the office

3.  Altar Servers work in pairs.  They are scheduled in pairs.  It it best to find someone you work well with, and sign up as partners.  Parent/child or older/younger siblings pairs are particularly encouraged, but all are welcome.
