The Apostles' Creed - I believe in God, the Father Almighty, Creator of Heaven and Earth; and in Jesus Christ, His only Son, Our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died and was buried. He descended into hell; the third day he rose again from the dead; He ascended into Heaven, and is seated at the right hand of the Father Almighty; from thence He shall judge the living and the dead. I believe in the Holy Spirit, the Holy Catholic Church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, and the resurrection of the body, and life everlasting. Amen.

CONFIRMATION

 

St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Community 

The Sacrament of Confirmation is administered in the 

11th and 12th grade.  

 

Minimum Requirements

:

1. Have received the Sacrament of Baptism and Eucharist.

 

2. Attendance at all the classes and events. Twenty-five hours of community service during the school year. This may include any service project done in conjunction with school, church or community group. Written verification is required.

 

3. Attendance of Sunday Mass, and in particular the 5pm Life Teen Mass on Sundays.

 

4. Attendance at parish celebration of Holy Day liturgies and activities...etc.

 

5. A $100.00 fee, which covers the retreat and Confirmation materials.

Here is the 2008-2009 schedule of classes. 

Classes will be held on Wednesday evenings from 7pm - 9pm in the Parish Hall.

The weekend retreat date is January 23-25, 2009. 

Confirmation practice and confirmation date may change.
